On Saturday, November 17th 2018, the YS 4th Aerial Wing "Scorpions" alongside with the YS Special Armed Response Force ( SARF ) commenced Operation Moby Dick. The operation was aimed to send the GRS ( Ghettonian Republic Ship ) Osama bin Lada Carrier Strike Group to the bottom of the Indian Ocean. The carrier strike group itself was the last major military unit of the Ghettonian Republic, it was composed of an Ulyanovsk-class Supercarrier named GRS Osama bin Lada that was secretly purchased from a Russian scrapyard by a "dummy" company that actually belonged to the Ghettonian Republic. Other than the Ulyanovsk-class Supercarrier, the strike group also consisted of an Ivan Rogov-class Landing Ship, and several Udaloy-class Destroyers that served as the escorts of the strike group. Since the tide turned to the favor of the Allied Forces, the Ghettonian Republic has suffered major losses to their military units. One of the biggest losses came when the YS 4th Aerial Wing "Scorpions" liberated the city of Jakarta several weeks prior to Operation Moby Dick. Due to the immense size of the carrier strike group, there were two main flights that were sent to the operation, which were Black Scorpions One and Two Flight, both of them were tasked to sink the GRS Osama bin Lada Carrier Strike Group. Black Scorpions One Flight was lead by Admiral Faza "Falcon" Abel while Black Scorpions Two Flight was lead by Rear Admiral Arie "Fiona" Wiranto. The flights were also supported by AWACS Thunderstruck, which provided increased situational awareness and targeting informations over the battlespace. The flights took off from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in the city of Jakarta that had been liberated a few weeks prior to the operation at 09:00AM local time. The flights headed south west to confront the carrier strike group that was located approximately 200 nautical miles away from Jakarta. The flights cruised for approximately 45 minutes at 30,000 feet. When the flights were 50 nautical miles away from the carrier strike group, all elements ( except for AWACS Thunderstruck ) dove to deck level to avoid radar detection by the Ghettonian Republic ships, this was also meant to maximize the effect of a surprise attack to the Ghettonian Republic. At approximately 10:00AM local time, Admiral "Faza" Falcon Abel opened fire to the carrier strike group with several Brimstone SPEAR III missiles, sending one Udaloy-class destroyer to the bottom of the Indian Ocean in the first attack run. The other aircrafts proceeded to engage the carrier strike group as well. The sudden raid triggered the aerial defenses on the carrier strike group. SAMs were starting to fly here and there and CIWS rounds too. Unfortunately, due to the extremely thick layers of aerial defenses ( which was previously assumed to not be very thick ), the carrier strike group managed to shoot down several 4th Aerial Wing "Scorpions" aircrafts, notably Rear Admiral Arie "Fiona" Wiranto in his Yak-130 Mitten and Colonel Febri "Mayer" Susanto in his F-16C Block 52 Fighting Falcon. Luckily, both of them managed to eject from their stricken aircrafts, they were rescued a couple of hours later by MV-22A Osprey tilt-rotor aircrafts. Although suffering casualties, the flights managed to send several Udaloy-class Destroyers and the Ivan Rogov-class Landing Ship to the bottom of the Indian Ocean. I didn't expect that the defenses would be this thick. When those missiles and rounds began to fly everywhere, I immediately fired all of my anti-ship missiles towards the ( Udaloy-class ) destroyers, just as those missiles hit the destroyers, my Viper was struck by an SA-N-9 Gauntlet missile, as I look back I immediately realized that my Viper was totally doomed. I pulled the ejection handle and blasted out from my stricken airframe. Fearing that more casualties will fall, AWACS Thunderstruck immediately contacted Enfield. Enfield was a ground-based controller that operated BrahMos II hypersonic cruise missiles. The missiles are able to fly at Mach 5, drop chaffs and flares, and do evasive maneuvers when required. The missiles were secretly transported from Mandiola and Linbury complete with their Transport Erector Launchers ( TELs ) by transport aircrafts several days prior to the operation. Upon receiving target coordinates, Enfield immediately fired several BrahMos IIs to the carrier strike group. From 5 missiles fired, 4 successfully hit thier targets and caused massive damages. In the mean time, the hostile aircraft carrier itself launched many fighters to the skies to defend the fleet. Surprisingly, the remnants of the Ghettonian Air Force were also stationed onboard the GRS Osama bin Lada aircraft carrier. They have modified their aircrafts to be a "single-use" carrier-based fighter jets. Essentially only by lightening their aircrafts and modifying them with tail hooks that are never designed for long-term usage onboard aircraft carriers. One by one, they launched from the GRS Osama bin Lada aircraft carrier, they managed to outnumber Black Scorpions One and Two Flights by a ratio of approximately 2 to 1. They were launching from their aircraft carrier just like if you hit an ant hill, then the ants come out, just like that, literally. At that time I realized that we needed to take down the aircraft carrier as soon as we can before they could launch more fighters that will make our job even harder. Although outnumbered ( as usual ), both Black Scorpions One and Two Flights were able to repel the joint Ghettonian Air Force and Navy fighter jets that were launched from the GRS Osama bin Lada aircraft carrier with minimal damage suffered to the Black Scorpions One and Two Flights. All fighters that were launched from the aircraft carrier were ultimately destroyed. At the same time, several other Black Scorpions One and Two Flights elements were still trying to take down the mighty GRS Osama bin Lada aircraft carrier. At approximately 11:15 local time, the ship was struck by an air-to-surface missile right on its weapons hangar which made it capsize a few moments later. After the flagship of the Ghettonian Republic was sunk, the remaining destroyers were given a chance to surrender. Unfortunately they kept firing towards Black Scorpions One and Two Flights, which in a few minutes later, sent the remaining destroyers to the depths of the Indian Ocean. Just as AWACS Thunderstruck ordered Black Scorpions One and Two Flights to return back to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport after successfully sinking the GRS Osama bin Lada Carrier Strike Group, a mysterious radar blip was spotted onboard AWACS Thunderstruck's powerful radar. A few moments later that the blip was classified as a cruise missile. It was unknown where the missile was going to, but looking from its trajectory, it seemed like that it was going towards Jakarta. Concerned that it was a final retaliatory weapon possesed by the Ghettonian Republic, AWACS Thunderstruck ordered Black Scorpions One Flight to intercept and shoot down the cruise missile. Captain Farrell "Blyatmir" Daffa was the first one to arrive on the scene, due to the very small size of the missile, the missile cannot be spotted by his aircraft's radar. So he turned to his own eyes to find the cruise missile. After minutes of searching finally he found it, but as he was trying to engage it, the missile started to do evasive maneuvers while surprisingly dumping chaffs and flares to distract Captain Farrell "Blyatmir" Daffa's missiles. He even tried to use his guns, but due to the size of the missile, all of his rounds missed their targets. At last, he was able to hit the missile with his guns, but unfortunately he hit the warhead section of the missile, which detonated a couple of miliseconds later. The blast was so huge that it can be compared to a tactical nuclear warhead. The blast produced immense shockwaves which struck Captain Farrell "Blyatmir" Daffa's Su-35SMX Disco Flanker and brought it down. Miraculously, he managed to eject with some burns. He was later rescued by a Mi-26 Halo helicopter of the 8th Aerial Squadron "Giant Scorpions" that was loitering near Jakarta. Post-operation group photograph A few moments later, Black Scorpions One and Two Flights proceeded to land at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. Although losing 3 aircrafts, the operation was deemed as a success due to that Black Scorpions One and Two Flights managed to sink the last major military unit of the Ghettonian Republic, which was the GRS Osama bin Lada Carrier Strike Group. The unknown cruise missile turned out to be owned by the Ghettonian Republic, it was set as a final retaliatory weapon for the Republic of Indonesia and the Allied Forces. An Indonesian special operators team have managed to sabotage and destroy the missile launcher that was located on the neraby island of Sumatera. As the Ghettonian Republic was literally powerless after they lost the GRS Osama bin Lada Carrier Strike Group, the remnants of them were brought into court and some of them were charged with war crimes, one of them was General Nicholas Amantapu, which was accused to commit civilian massacres during the war. The Republic of Indonesia President Joko Widomo once again thanked NUN-IMF for helping them to retake the whole archipelago from the hands of the Ghettonian Republic and restore sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia. As the Ghettonian Republic was literally in the history books, the 4th Aerial Wing "Scorpions" has begun a military drawdown process in the archipelago by pulling back most of its units back to Mandiola and Linbury. The full pre-operation briefing has been declassified and is attached below : [ OPERATION MOBY DICK ] :
